How to ensure your Personal Brand Photos will be useful for you & your business.

When people book a brand shoot with me, they often say how surprised they are by how much they get for their money. I guess this is because when they book a photoshoot they’re just thinking about doing the actual shoot and of course having the finished photos. And I’m sure with many photographers that probably is all you get.

But it's important to me that you get the most out of your personal brand photoshoot & end up with photos that are really going to help your business.

So, I just can't help myself.

I give my clients a lot of extra support to ensure this will happen.

So today I wanted to talk through what extra support I give my clients, and why you shouldn’t settle for less.

Getting to know each other.

Before you even book a shoot with me, I offer everyone a ‘Complimentary Consultation’. This is so we can have a chat, get to know each other a bit, and it’s also the perfect opportunity for you to ask any questions you have before committing to your investment.

With my larger photo packages you also get a ‘Creative Call’ with me on Zoom so we can really plan for your shoot in detail. We talk through all the finer details, discuss what will be best for you, and we will get to know each other even more, so you’ll feel like you're with a friend on shoot day!

All of my brand photoshoot packages also include a ‘Brand Questionnaire’ which helps me really get to know you and your business, it also helps you define what you want and need from your images.

And on top of all that I also spend a lot of time emailing my clients throughout the process of working together, so I’m with you every step of the way!

Advising you.

I know photoshoots probably aren’t something you do that often, and perhaps you haven't ever had one before. So every-single-one of my clients receives a ‘Photoshoot Preparation Guide’ with loads of tips to help you get ready for your personal brand shoot

I also have a lot of blog posts that delve in deeper on specific things that you might need to know to help you prepare for your shoot or get the most out of your photos, so feel free to take a peek here!

Sharing a vision.

To ensure we are really on the same page in terms of what you want your brand photos to look like, my larger brand shoot packages also include a ‘Collaborative Pinterest Board’, so we can collect inspiration and ideas, for things like locations, outfits, poses and relevant props. We can even refer to some of these inspo images during the shoot!

Making it enjoyable.

One thing I really pride myself on is making sure the photoshoot is a fun experience for you. On booking, most of my clients tell me that they don’t like having their photo taken, and I reply…

“challenge accepted!”

Because of all the steps mentioned above, by the time shoot day comes around, we already know each other which means you will feel more comfortable than if you were shooting with a stranger. I also have a few tricks up my sleeve to make you feel even more comfortable, confident and hopefully you’ll even enjoy your photoshoot!

Helping with next steps.

After the shoot, it’s not over yet!

I’m not going to dump a load of photos on you and say “see ya”. Oh no no. I’m going to help with all the post-shoot steps too.

I’ll share advice about how to feel more confident when you view your photos, tips about how to choose your fav photos, which shots to use first, where to use your new photos, and more!

Promoting you.

I also love promoting my clients businesses and shouting about how amazing you are! About a month after our shoot I’ll send you a follow up email to find out how you’ve been using your new images and any exciting news about your business. I’ll then write a blog post about our shoot and your business with SEO link back to your website to help people find you (check out ‘The Self Made Spotlight’ below!) I also share lots of social posts including photos from our shoot and I’ll be sure to tag your accounts!

Becoming friends.

After all this I’d love for us to keep in touch. I love to make friends with fellow small business owners and entrepreneurs and wouldn’t it just be great to keep on supporting each others self-made businesses?!

So, when I say I offer Personal Brand Photography….this is what I mean by PERSONAL!

Why book a photographer who just takes your photo, when you could book a photographer that really supports you and ensures your photos are going to work for you and your business?

Could I be the right brand photographer for you?

As your personal brand photographer, I’ll aim to show off your unique personality & your specific offerings in a creative way through the beautiful brand images we create together.

I also want to give you more confidence to show up for the people who need your help, so you can build a strong and recognisable personal brand.

Personal brand photography can really help you stand out, make an impact, and get seen!
