Portrait shoot in West London with fashion retail business owners, Hira Tayyib & Saleha Hassan.

In the “Self Made Spotlight” today is Hira Tayyib & Syeda Saleha Hassan.

Hira and Saleha are the directors of their fashion retail brand ‘The London T’. The ladies set up ‘The London T’ to portray the talent of Pakistani artisans on an international scale. They specialise in Western and Eastern female and menswear ranging from T-shirts, embroidered blazers, dresses, and shalwar kameez. On top of that, they also make homeware and accessories!

Hira and Saleha wanted to update their website and social platforms with fresh images that showed them off as creative, approachable, professional, and joyful.

So for their brand shoot, we spent an hour and a half shooting around Hyde Park and Connaught Village, which offered us a mix of colourful streets as well as lots of leafy backdrops.

The shoot was relaxing and fun and the photos were exactly what we wanted.”-Saleha Hassan

Since our shoot, Hira and Saleha have been using their new images on their website and across Instagram. They say

“the images have informed our clientele about our business journey and are a visual representation of how we have grown in the last 7 years”.

When I asked Hira and Saleha if they had any advice for someone who’s considering having a brand photoshoot, they said

“Be relaxed and let the photographer take the lead. Prepare well in advance and have a clear idea of what you want your photographs to depict.”

Currently, Hira and Saleha are working on some large-scale exhibitions and are excited to announce the release of their new autumn-winter collection.
