Have some questions?

Take a look at my frequently asked questions below to find some answers.

  • You can find out all about what personal brand photography is and how it can help you and your business here.

  • We will most likely be shooting on location in London UK. It could be outside, at your home or work space or you could even hire a venue.

When you book a shoot, we will discuss the best location for you during your consultation or creative call.

I am also happy to travel across the UK, or even world wide for an additional charge, please email me to discuss.

  • I prefer to shoot Monday to Fridays but I can shoot on the weekend if needed for an additional fee. If you’re booking an outside shoot, I suggest mid week as it’s not so busy.

  • I usually recommend booking your personal brand shoot about a month in advance of your preferred shoot date. This is to give you plenty of time to prepare and so we can find a suitable time to book our planning session.

If you need your images sooner and I have availability, I would suggest booking at least 1 - 2 weeks ahead of the shoot if possible.

My Portrait package can be booked with less notice as there is less planning involved.

Remember to also allow up to 3 weeks after your shoot for your edited images to be ready.

  • When we have your consultation or creative call we will talk about outfits in more detail. I will also send you a prep document with suggestions and tips about what to wear. My biggest piece of advice though is to just be you. Make sure you feel comfortable in what you wear and bring a variety of options.

  • Yes, but only minimal changes. Any changes you do will eat in to the shoot time so nothing too timely please! Please arrive with the look you will want for the majority of your images.

For outside shoots make sure you bring a pocket mirror. Bring hair ties and brushes if you want to try some hair up and some hair down, but remember, nothing complicated we won’t have time. I can discuss this in more detail during your consultation or creative call.

  • We can discuss this in your consultation, but generally I recommend starting with minimal, natural makeup. Most importantly though, be you and make sure you feel comfortable.

  • It’s totally normal to be nervous, even if you’ve had lots of shoots before. But don’t worry, I’m really friendly and not at all scary. But don’t just take it from me, check out my reviews to see what my clients think!

During your consultation I’ll talk you through everything you need to know and answer any questions you have. I’ll then email you a prep document with lots of tips on how to prepare and what to bring. And of course you’re always welcome to email me if you have more questions.

When you arrive at the shoot I’ll do my best to make you feel comfortable, we’ll have a laugh and hopefully you’ll enjoy the shoot just as much as you’ll love your images.

One important thing though, have a think about your look in advance. Are you planning on changing it soon? Maybe change it before your shoot so the images will be more useful to you for longer. But if you do change something drastic PLEASE do it at least a week or 2 before the shoot, just in case you don’t like it!

  • Once we’ve agreed on the right package for you and a date, I will send you an invoice so you can send me a bank transfer. All Packages require a non refundable 50% deposit to secure your shoot slot. The outstanding fee must be paid within 4 working days before your shoot. Some smaller packages require the full fee to be paid on booking.

  • All images will be professionally colour corrected using Adobe Lightroom so they look great and really stand out.

I also offer advanced retouching on selected images for £25 per image. Using Photoshop I can get rid of spots, blemishes, stray hairs and under-eye shadows where needed. I also use lots of tricks to make your face and eyes really stand out! I won’t make you look fake though and I never alter body shapes. I think brand images should be an authentic representation of your best self, so I always try and keep it as natural as possible.

  • I’ll send you a link where you can download your final retouched images as digital files. You’ll receive 2 versions of each image: 1 low res suitable for web/social/email, and 1 high res file suitable for printing as big as you want!

  • During the shoot I will show you the images periodically on my camera LCD. We will discuss which ones are working and what we want to change to make sure you’re happy with the way you look and the way I’m shooting. Before we wrap up I’ll flick through all the images on my camera quickly to make sure we’ve got everything we want and I’ll give you one last chance to try anything else out. I won't stop shooting until I'm certain we've got what we need!

  • If something pops up and you have to change your shoot date I’ll understand and be as accommodating as possible. Please try to give me as much notice as possible though so I can give your slot to someone else.

If you have to change the date of your shoot with less than 72 hours notice, there will be a £25 charge. There may be a higher charge if given less than 48 hours notice.

If you need to reschedule your shoot but don't re-book within 2 months of your original shoot date, your deposit may become void. To make sure this doesn't happen, please don't ghost me, just let me know if you need to wait longer and I'll be as accommodating as possible.

  • Please don’t cancel. If you need to, you can postpone. Deposits are non refundable, so you may as well reschedule.

  • If you think you’re running late please let me know as soon as possible! Sometimes things happen and I’ll try to be as accommodating as possible but if you’re more than 15 mins late there may be an additional charge or your shoot may have to be cut short if I am unable to extend it. Try your best to leave as much time as possible though, you don’t want to be in a rush, you’ll be less relaxed and it could show in your images.

  • I try my best to go ahead with shoots if it’s a bit rainy but if extreme weather or unforeseen circumstances permits a shoot, I’ll give you a call so we can discuss the options.

In some situations you might be able to switch to a inside shoot if you want, otherwise the shoot will be rescheduled for a future date at no additional charge.

Unfortunately this doesn’t entitle you to a refund as I can’t control the weather or unforeseen circumstances, but we will certainly still make sure we get you some great images!

  • Most of my packages include a zoom call so we’ll probably get to see each other before shoot day. I will also give you detailed instructions of where we will meet. I’ll have my phone on me in case we can’t find each other. There’s a photo of me below so this is what I look like and if you’re really worried, I’ll tell you what I’m wearing or even hold a sign.😉

If you’d like to ask me any other questions, feel free to send me an email or book a complimentary zoom consultation by filling out the enquiry form on the contact page via the button below.
