London personal branding photographer in Chelsea with vintage art dealer, Julia Collins.

London personal branding photographer with vintage art dealer

As a London Personal Branding Photographer, I love to help my clients showcase their amazing businesses and attract their ideal audience. So as well as creating eye-catching personal brand images, I also write a blog post about each of my clients and show off some of their new images to the world. So with that said…

In the “Self Made Spotlight” today is Julia Collins.

Julia is a decorative and vintage art dealer. Through her business Collins and Green Art, she sources and sells affordable, decorative, vintage art. Julia only ever stocks artworks she would happily live with herself and has a very wide range of styles, subjects, and media. She also holds regular picture-hanging masterclasses.

Julia wanted to take her business up a notch by having some professional brand images on her website and social platforms. She wanted her new images to present her as professional, friendly, reliable, helpful, fun & kind.

So Julia decided to book the Personal Brand Photoshoot Plus package, which meant we could spend 5 hours shooting at her home in Chelsea. Julia works from home so this allowed us to photograph in her office and gallery as well as other great spaces, including her living areas and garden. We also made sure to capture lots of her gorgeous gallery walls and artwork all over the house.

During the shoot we had some very special appearances from Julia’s dogs Milo & Beanie. Julia’s children Fleur and Arthur also joined us for the shoot. They were both really helpful on the day, doing things like ironing outfits, preparing props and set items, collecting lunch, helping Julia laugh, and giving creative input!

“Lisa made a difficult day relaxed & enjoyable. It was fun & we ended up with some lovely images.”

Since our shoot, Julia has so far been using her new images on Instagram, including carousels, reels, and some introduction posts to help her audience get to know her. I can see she’s had some great engagement and really lovely comments. Julia says…

“People loved the images I used on Insta.”
