As a London Personal Branding Photographer, I love to help my clients showcase their amazing businesses and attract their ideal audience. So as well as creating eye-catching personal brand images, I also write a blog post about each of my clients and show off some of their new images to the world. So with that said…
In the “Self Made Spotlight” today is service experience consultant & business mentor, Claire Kavanagh.
Claire Kavanagh is a Start-up Business Mentor. After 3 years of research and mentoring over 200 business owners Claire has decided to launch a course for women who are deciding to become self employed or setting up their own business.
Claire’s course is designed to help women work out if self-employment is right for them, and to help them to understand their finances, skill sets and goals. And for women who’ve recently started their own business, Claire’s course will support them to develop their proposition, understand basic marketing principles and get them to a point where their business is commercially viable.
Claire wanted professional brand photos for her new website to help position herself as a course leader who is experienced, trustworthy, approachable, and kind.
So for her personal brand shoot we spent 3 hours shooting in a beautiful location house in Enfield and around the local area, which offered us a range of work set-ups, as well as some homely and outside options.
I first met Claire via the New Zealand Business Women’s Network (I’m half a kiwi if you didn’t know) and have been lucky enough to have some mentoring sessions with Claire, so it was great to be able to switch positions and help Claire with her business too!

Since our shoot, Claire has been using her new images on her course website and is also planning to use them on her social platforms for content marketing. She says…
“Having been a business mentor for the last 4 years, I wanted to create something that would enable me to help more women. I decided that I needed to create a new website, and felt booking in to have professional photos taken was an important first step to making this venture official. It has been an important first step to further developing my personal brand.”
Claire is excited to launch her new course ‘Start my own business’ which is for women who are considering becoming self-employed.
