How a seasonal personal brand photoshoot could make your content more relevant, relatable, and engaging this autumn.

As we say goodbye to summer and step into the final quarter of the year, it’s time, as a small business, to plan your upcoming marketing content for the next season. So let’s talk to you about how a seasonal personal brand photoshoot could help make your content more relevant, relatable, and engaging this autumn.

How to create relevant, relatable, and engaging seasonal content?

One great way to really evoke the current season through your content is by using seasonal images. And the best way to make those images relevant and personal is by planning a seasonal personal brand photoshoot. Seasonal brand photos can convey your brand's values and personality while also capturing the spirit and atmosphere of the season. Making your content super relevant, relatable, and engaging for your target audience.

Why is autumn a great time to update your personal brand images?

As things begin to quiet down a bit after the busy summer season, you might find yourself with more time to work on those behind-the-scenes business tasks, like updating your website & planning your upcoming marketing content before the next busy season - Christmas!

But, more likely than not, you’re most recent brand photos will be from summer or spring, which nobody on this side of the planet is going to relate to for a while! And if you do have autumn or winter brand photos, they’re going to be at least a year old, so you need to question whether these are still relevant, or if it's probably time to update your brand images.

How do we create autumn brand images?

Personally, I just love photographing those autumnal colours, & making you look all cosy with your coffee cups & woolly jumpers, so I can't wait to get shooting! But there are lots of ways we can create brand images that are relevant to autumn (and winter too).

🍂 We can consider colour palettes. So along with your brand colours, we can also think about what colours will work with your upcoming autumn/winter content, and what colours will help evoke the right feel for your audience.

🍂 You can wear seasonal clothes. As the weather gets colder, you won’t want to be using images showing you in your summer shorts and vests, because it will look really out of place (and off-trend). So let's grab those jumpers and jackets and get you a bit more cosy-fied!

🍂 We can also think about what locations to use and what activities you can be doing in your images, so that your content is relevant and relatable.

🍂 We can plan images for any public holidays, social media dates, current news or trends relevant to your business that you might need content for.

🍂 And of course, to make your brand images personal and relevant to your specific business, we will consider your upcoming content, launches, events, PR, and anything else you might need images for during the autumn/winter seasons!
